PU Foaming Line for Insulation Box Production — 10-to-600 L Box Capability

PU foaming module (machine + jigs + recipe + commissioning) for factory owners building insulated cold-chain transport boxes. Wall 30–80 mm PU, k=0.022–0.024 W/m·K. Vaccine WHO PQS-recipe-ready, fresh-food, seafood, pharma applications covered.

Scope note: What we supply = PU foaming machine + jigs (工位) + raw-material recipe + commissioning. What's NOT in our scope = vacuum-forming of inner/outer plastic shells, final assembly (handles, latches, gasket, lid, brand printing), final QC. You source these separately — we hand you the reference BOM at quote time.

PU Foaming Process (per jig position)

Our equipment scope — what one jig (工位) runs per cycle. Throughput per jig = 3,600 ÷ cycle-seconds × shift-hours × OEE.

  1. Clamp jig closed — operator loads pre-assembled inner liner + outer shell (sourced from your vacuum-forming step) into the jig with a 30–80 mm foam cavity.
  2. PU injection — low-pressure or high-pressure machine shoots POL + Cyclopentane + ISO through the gate. Cream 6–10 s, gel 30–60 s.
  3. Cure — foam expands and cross-links inside the cavity. Demould window 60–180 seconds depending on wall thickness and ambient.
  4. Demould — open jig, lift the foamed box body out.
  5. Trim + reset — trim gate excess, surface-inspect, reset jig for next shot. 1–2% reject rate typical.

Out of our scope: vacuum-forming HIPS/ABS shells (upstream), final assembly (handles/latches/gasket/lid/brand printing), final QC, packaging. Your factory sources these separately — we hand you a vetted BOM at quote time.
