US — Chef Base Cabinet Bracket OEM Program
US commercial kitchen OEM switched bracket supplier after NSF Standard 7 audit failures from rust-prone uncoated steel. Hot-dip galvanized 65 µm zinc finish + 300 lb load rating cut field rust failures from 12% to <0.5% and lifted NSF first-submission pass rate to 95%+.
Chef-base cabinet bracket OEM · 50,000 units/year
Challenge
A US commercial kitchen equipment OEM building 2.4 m chef base counters needed structural brackets that could survive 200 lb sustained load + restaurant kitchen humidity. Their existing supplier shipped uncoated steel that rusted within 18 months under wet kitchen conditions — driving NSF Standard 7 audit failures and end-customer complaints.
Solution
Our bracket sub-line produces cold-rolled steel Q345 brackets with hot-dip galvanized 65 µm zinc finish (vs prior 25 µm electroplate). Bolt-pattern matched to OEM's chef base mould interface. NSF-compliant packaging (no contamination risk). Tested to 300 lb sustained + 600 lb cyclic load in our QC lab.
