Four hardware families that finish a refrigerator
Hardware is the last 5% of a refrigerator that the buyer touches every day — the hinge that closes the door, the rail a freezer basket slides on, the shelf that holds the load. We supply these as part of the line, validated against your cabinet, so parts fit on first assembly instead of being sourced piecemeal afterward.
Hinges & door pivots
Hinges & door pivots: cam-rise (self-lifting) hinges, concealed hinges and gravity-close pivots for refrigerator, freezer and display-cabinet doors. Sized to door weight and gasket compression so the door seals without sag.
Brackets & structural
Brackets & structural parts: compressor mounting plates, cabinet reinforcement brackets, shelf supports and hinge reinforcement plates — the stamped steel that carries load inside the cabinet.
Rails & slides
Rails & slides: drawer slides for chest freezers, telescopic basket rails, glass-door track rails and roller assemblies. Corrosion-rated for the high-humidity interior of a cold cabinet.
Wire products
Wire products: chrome / epoxy-coated wire shelves, basket frames, condenser and evaporator wire supports. Welded and coated to resist condensation rust over a 10-year cabinet life.
How the parts are made — and why the coating matters more than the steel
A refrigerator hinge or shelf lives its whole life in a damp, cold, condensation-prone environment. The base steel rarely fails first — the surface finish does. Our hardware is built around that reality.
Stamping & forming
Stamping & forming: progressive-die stamping for hinges and brackets (SECC/SGCC cold-rolled steel, 1.0–3.0 mm), CNC bending for low-volume / prototype runs.
Welding
Welding: resistance spot welding and MIG for wire products and structural frames. Weld points are the first corrosion site, so they are coated, not left bare.
Surface & coating
Surface & coating: zinc electroplating (8–12 µm) for general parts, epoxy powder coating for wire shelves, chrome plating for visible display hardware, and e-coating (cathodic) for the highest salt-spray rating.
Salt-spray validation
Validation: parts are rated by neutral salt-spray (ASTM B117) hours — 96 h for interior brackets, 240 h+ for parts exposed to condensation, 480 h+ for export to humid / coastal markets.

Custom tooling: we cut progressive dies to your hinge / bracket drawing. Tooling lead time 25–40 days; thereafter parts ship on the cabinet schedule.
Finish options
Finish options: zinc, chrome, epoxy powder (any RAL color), or e-coat — chosen by where the part sits and which market it ships to.
Capacity
Capacity: the partner network runs progressive presses and automated wire-welding lines with monthly capacity in the millions of pieces, so hardware is never the bottleneck on a turnkey line.
MOQ
MOQ: container-load for stamped parts; we consolidate hardware into the project shipment so you are not paying separate freight.
Quality control on every batch
Hardware QC is dimensional + corrosion + function — checked before parts leave, because a failed hinge on an assembled cabinet is far more expensive than one caught at incoming.
Dimensional
Dimensional: first-article inspection (FAI) on every new die, then sampling per AQL 1.0/2.5 on production lots — gauge-checked against the approved drawing.
Corrosion
Corrosion: salt-spray test per lot to the rated hours, with a report shipped with the goods.
Function
Function: hinge open/close cycle test (≥50,000 cycles), slide pull test, shelf load test to rated kg.
Documentation
Documentation: material certs, plating-thickness report and salt-spray report travel with each shipment for your incoming QC.
